David Gambill

I'm David, the store owner, having 33 years of experience repairing, designing, and selling jewelry right here in Jonesboro.  Total customer satisfaction is my goal with each and every item we produce and with each sales transaction.  I enjoy building relationships with our customers and seek to get to know everyone who walks in the door.  Our business is built on our relationship with you, our valued friends and customers.  My wife Sandra (with whom I celebrated 30 years of marriage this year!) and I  have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and a beautiful little grandson.  We attend Trinity Church  here in Jonesboro.

Kevin Downs

Kevin is our Shop Manager, and Assistant Store Manager.  Kevin has 27 years of experience in the jewelry business, both in sales and at the jewelry bench repairing and making jewelry.  Kevin and I worked together at the same local jewelry store for 15 years, prior to me starting my own business, and then continued to work together in a "moon-lighting" situation until Kevin joined  us at Gambill Jewelry full-time in August of 2009.  Kevin can assist you with sales, repairs, and custom design needs.  Kevin's favorite thing to do (besides coming to work, of course!) is to go fishing!  He and his family attend Trinity Church in Jonesboro.

Spencer Bounds

Spencer has been with us nearly a year, and we are excited that he has come to work with us!  I have known Spencer since he was a young boy, our families attending church together.  Spencer is an accomplished musician, playing the bass guitar, lead electric guitar, drums, and keyboard.  Spencer's parents are Eddie and Lori Bounds, and he has 3 brothers.  We're all pouring into Spencer our years of experience and knowledge, and he's doing a great job of picking things up.  Spencer is here to help you with your purchase decisions, and is a Jeweler Apprentice.  We anticipate a long relationship with Spencer, and welcome him to our little family.  He and his family attend Trinity Church here in Jonesboro where he is active in the Youth Ministry and in the church Praise and Worship Team.

Dot Noles

Dot has worked in the jewelry industry for close to 30 years, in stores here in Jonesboro and in Memphis.  She does our bead and pearl stringing as well as selling jewelry.  She has a vast knowledge of the product.   Dot and Linda (shown below) worked together for several years at Gordon's Jewelers, and Dot, Kevin and I began working together about 27 years ago in the same local jewelry store.  She and her husband, Ray, have three children, six grandchildren, and six great grand children!  They attend Community Fellowship Church here in Jonesboro.

Linda Lamberth

Linda  has 27 years of experience in the jewelry business, and for 21 years served as Store Manager for Gordon's Jewelers here in Jonesboro.  As I said above, she and Dot worked together for several years at Gordon's Jewelers.  We consider ourselves fortunate to have her working with us.  Her knowledge of jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones is vast.   She and her husband, Jimmy, are active members of Trinity Church here in Jonesboro, and they also operate a missions ministry situated in the Philippines.

Taylor Gambill

Taylor is my youngest son, and he is a junior at Jonesboro High School.  Taylor is working with us part-time after school as his schedule allows, and he is learning to assist in the shop with repairs, as well as all other aspects of the business.  He is the third of my three sons to help out in the store while in school.  My two older sons moved on to other interests, but who knows what the future holds for Taylor?  His passion right now is music, and you can read more about that in my personal note.

We Honor a Valued Former Employee

1st Lieutenant Michael McCarty

His brave service and the sacrifices he made while serving in the Iraq war have made us very proud of him.  Michael worked with us for 2 1/2 years while attending Arkansas State University.  He served in the University's ROTC program, and after graduating was activated and sent to Iraq serving in the Arkansas National Guard's 39th Brigade Combat Team.  Michael was given the high honor of  induction into the ASU ROTC Hall of Heroes.  He is the highest-decorated Arkansas soldier of the war, holding the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal with Valor

Words cannot express the love we have for Michael.  We consider him a permanent part of our family.  We miss him deeply, and wish him God's best in all he does.  We feel honored to have had him with us for the time we did.  Michael is a special friend, and will be for life.  He is now at home in Bald Knob, Arkansas, and has gone into business with his twin brother Patrick, who also served bravely in the Arkansas National Guard in the Iraq war.

Thank you Michael.
