"We don't want to simply sell you a piece of jewelry, we want to become your jeweler!"

Who we are...

We are life-long residents of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and are active members of  Trinity Church here in Jonesboro.  We have three boys, Jason (26), Justin (24), and Taylor (15).

Jason is attending Dental School at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.  His time is now consumed with his studies, however in his  leisure time he enjoys rock climbing, hiking and camping, fly fishing, and bike riding.  His lovely wife, Jessica (formerly Jessica McKee of Jonesboro), is a second grade teacher in the Bartlett, Tennessee school system.  They attend Fellowship Bible Church  in Memphis.  They just recently gave us the beautiful gift of our first grandchild, a wonderful little boy named Ephraim.

Justin graduated from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended on a baseball scholarship.  His major is  in accounting, and he is working for DeMars Pension Consulting Services.   Justin is engaged to Trista Martinez, and the will be married in July of this year.  She is working on her early childhood education major.  Justin loves the outdoors, and if he goes missing, you can probably find him on the lake in his boat, throwing that line out!  Justin and Trista attend The Vineyard church in Smithville, Missouri.

Taylor is in the ninth grade and attends Annie Camp Junior High School here in Jonesboro.  He plays in the band, and loves to swim and go camping.  He also spends a lot of time on his skate board, and playing video games.   His other love is music, and he plays around on the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums.  He also plays the tenor sax and bassoon in the Annie Camp band.  Taylor plays guitar and drums for us on the worship team at Trinity Church.

Sandra, my beautiful wife,  has sold Avon products for 28 years and for many of those years has been honored by receiving the award for top sales in her district.  She just recently achieved the One Million Dollar sales mark.  She also works as a substitute teacher in the Jonesboro Public School System.   She loves the kids!  Before she got so busy, she helped me out in the jewelry store, but now that is a rarity.  One of her favorite things to do is to watch the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team!  She loves to go watch them play, and at every chance she and her Mom make the trek to Busch Stadium in St. Louis.  She can talk baseball stats like no one else I know!

I have spent the last 32 years of my life repairing and making custom jewelry for loyal customers in the Jonesboro trade area, which includes Northeast Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and West Tennessee.  My satisfied customers  live as far away as Alaska and California, and even Germany.  I spent 21 years working for a local jeweler, providing all of the services that I now offer in my own store.  I founded Gambill Jewelry in July of 1999.  We are now in our 11th year of business!  In October of 2005 we moved to our current location on Southwest Drive.  Our customer base is growing daily!  I enjoy music and playing the keyboard.  I also love camping and the outdoors, and any electronic gadget I can find!  My newest passion is riding my motorcycle.  You can learn a bit more about me if you wish, by following this link: David's Facebook Page.

Thank you for giving me a moment of your time and allowing me to introduce my family to you.  I hope you will come by the store and let us get to know you!  I believe that doing business is more than an exchange of money for services.  It is most effective when relationships are built and trust is earned.  We wish to build a lifelong, mutually beneficial relationship with our customers, our friends in the community.

Sincerely,

David Gambill
